Tips for successful freelancing
Checkout healthy habits to become a successful freelancer
If you are a beginner please read the post about Freelancing before going forward which explains the basic things like what is freelancing, how to estimate the app cost, etc.
As a freelancer at the begging stages, it’s very hard to find the clients without a good portfolio. At the starting stage, it’s very similar to fresher in the job market with no experience. Many of us start freelancing with great hopes but most of us end up at the begging stage trying out one or the other. I have seen many colleagues and friends of mine who faced problems while starting freelancing. So I thought of writing a post with the problems and challenges that we faced so that it would help some other out there who are doing freelancing.
Build Portfolio
A portfolio is something that talks on our behalf. When you bid a project or approach someone for a freelancing project the first thing they look at is your portfolio. They see a lot more things in the portfolio like the expertise you have, testimonials from previous clients, etc. So building a good portfolio gives the best first impression about you. So take some time to build it before jumping into the ocean.
